เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 17 มกราคม 2566 เวลา 09.09 น. บริษัท เอจีซี วีนิไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้ประกอบพิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์และตอกเข็มเอกโครงการก่อสร้างโครงการซากุระ, ส่วนขยายโรงงานผลิตไวนิลคลอไรด์ และโรงงานผลิตผงพลาสติกพีวีซี ณ โรงงานมาบตาพุด 1 เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเป็นสิริมงคลในการก่อสร้างโครงการฯรวมถึงเป็นการสร้างขวัญกำลังใจให้กับทีมงานในการทำงานให้บรรลุผลสำเร็จได้อย่างปลอดภัยและตามแผนงานที่ตั้งไว้ โดยมีคณะผู้บริหารเอจีซี วีนิไทย นำโดย นายคาซูอะกิ โคกะ กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ นายซาโตรุ มิยาตาเกะ กรรมการบริหาร สายงานบริหารโรงงาน และเทคนิค นายโทโมยูเกะ คาเนะโกะ รองกรรมการบริหารอาวุโส กลุ่มงานบริหาร ส่วนขยายโรงงานมาบตาพุด 1 และมาบตาพุด 2 พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารจากบริษัทผู้ร่วมประมูลงานโครงการซากุระภายใต้ชื่อ “JGCME” นำโดย นายเคนจิ อิโตะ ประธานสายงาน Sustainable Solutions บริษัท เจจีซี คอร์ปอเรชั่น จำกัด และ นางวิลาวัลย์ สงเจริญ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท จีซี เมนเทนแนนซ์ แอนด์ เอนจิเนียริ่ง จำกัด พร้อมแขกผู้มีเกียรติและพนักงานเข้าร่วมงานพิธีอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
ทั้งนี้โครงการซากุระจะเริ่มเดินเครื่องได้ในช่วงครึ่งแรกปี 2568 โดยบริษัทฯ จะมีกำลังการผลิตไวนิลคลอไรด์และผงพลาสติกพีวีซีเพิ่มขึ้น ปีละ 400,000 ตัน เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการที่เติบโตขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องของผลิตภัณฑ์พีวีซีทั้งตลาดในประเทศและตลาดแถบเอเซียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
AGC Vinythai Holds Groundbreaking and First Pile Driving Ceremony of Expansion Project in Map Ta Phut 1 Plant
On Tuesday, January 17th, 2023, at 09:09 a.m., AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited marked an auspicious time with groundbreaking and first pile driving ceremony for the construction of its expansion project, so called Sakura project, at Map Ta Phut 1 Plant. The ceremony was held with aims at bringing good luck on proceeding the project successfully and safely as well as greatly boosting morale of Sakura Project team members and respective business partners.
Mr. Kazuaki Koga, Managing Director of AGC Vinythai, presided over the ceremony among management team and employees led by Mr. Satoru Miyatake, Plant and Technical Director and Mr. Tomoyuki Kaneko, Deputy Director – Expansion MTP1 and MTP2. The Management team of JGCME, the business partner, led by Mr. Kenji Ito, Sustainable Solutions President of JGC Co., Ltd. and Mrs. Wilawan Songjaroen, Managing Director of GC Maintenance and Engineering Co., Ltd. also participated in the ceremony as One Team.
The start of operation is scheduled in the 1st half of 2025 with the capacity of Vinyl Chloride and PVC are increasing by 400,000 tons in order to serve growing demand of PVC both in domestic markets and Southeast Asian markets.
