The Southeast Asian markets for caustic soda and PVC are expected to grow approximately 4% per year on the back of continued expansion in manufacturing and infrastructure projects in line with economic growth.
The business expansion is aimed at steadily capturing growing demand in emerging markets, strengthening the competitiveness and solidifying its leading position in the chlor-alkali business in Southeast Asia. So, AGC Group decided to make the investment for increasing the capacity of caustic soda and PVC at two manufacturing sites in Rayong province in the name “Sakura Project “and “RCA5 Project”. The start of operation is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2025.
