On August 15th, AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited received the “Gold Star Award” and “Green Star Award” for 2024 from the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand(IEAT) at Novotel Rayong Star Convention Center, Rayong Province. The awards, presented by Mr.Chakart Patanasri, Director of Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office, reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental management, occupational health, and safety based on principles of good corporate governance.
This year, both Map Ta Phut 1 and Map Ta Phut 2 plants successfully won Gold Star Award since they have been granted Green Star Awards for 6 consecutive years. Mr. Somprasong Dechavichitlert, Senior Vice President – EHSQ, and Mr. Dol Rattanarak, Assistant Vice President – MTP2, represented the company to receive the awards.
This prestigious award aims to promote the public and government participation in environmental and safety standards monitoring and to demonstrate AGC Vinythai’s high standards operation, transparency, accountability, and social responsibility, while ensuring a sustainably and coexist happily with local communities.
