On March 13, 2026, AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Coral Conservation Foundation Supported by AGC Vinythai PLC. , and its network partners, officially launched the “AGC Vinythai Coral Cultivation Project” at Koh Phangan. The event also featured the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on marine and coastal resource conservation and restoration. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Paisit Thongjerm, District Officer of Koh Phangan, at Koh Phangan Community Hall, Surat Thani Province.
The MOU represents a collaborative effort among key organizations, including AGC Vinythai, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, the Coral Conservation Foundation, and the CORE Sea Institute, to restore coral reef ecosystems around Koh Phangan and enhance marine biodiversity.
During the event, Mr. Prasan Sangpaiboon, Chairman of the Coral Conservation Foundation, expressed the foundation’s commitment to coral restoration, while Mr. Worathep Lertwinyu, Executive Vice President – Corporate Planning of AGC Vinythai, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to environmental protection and extended appreciation to all partners for their collaboration in driving sustainable outcomes.
The initiative was further supported by strong local networks, including the Second Naval Area Command, Koh Phangan Subdistrict Municipality, Phet Phangan Subdistrict Municipality, Than Sadet–Koh Phangan National Park, Koh Phangan District Fisheries Office, Marine Department (Koh Phangan Branch), Dok Mai Thale Conservation Group, E2C Koh Samui Group, and Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, all working together to advance tangible conservation efforts.
The event also featured a panel discussion titled “The Potential of Koh Phangan from the Perspectives of Partner Organizations.” Ms. Wilailux Pinijboonpakorn, External Communications Department Manager, represented AGC Vinythai in sharing the company’s perspective as a private sector organization with over 20 years of experience in coral conservation. The program concluded with a symbolic activity involving the installation of resin coral structures on dome bases, along with the provision of financial support for local coral restoration initiatives, aimed at strengthening community engagement and conservation networks for the long term.
Recently, AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited reaffirmed the commitment to corporate social responsibility by participating in the “MTP PORT FUN RUN 2026,” organized by the Map Ta Phut Industrial Port Office, at Map Ta Phut Industrial Port Phase 3 in Rayong Province.
The event was organized to mark the 33rd anniversary of the Map Ta Phut Industrial Port and to celebrate the successful opening of the Map Ta Phut Industrial Port Development Project Phase 3. The activity also aimed to strengthen relationships and foster a strong collaborative network among the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), government agencies, entrepreneurs in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, and surrounding communities.
On this occasion, Mr. Dol Rattanarak , Assistant Vice President – MTP2, led a team of employee representatives and members of AVT Running Club in actively participating in the 6-kilometer race. On January 10, 2026, AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited continued the commitment to corporate social responsibility by partnering with Map Ta Phut Municipality and industrial operators to organize the National Children’s Day 2026 celebration. The event aimed to promote learning and bring happiness to children in the Map Ta Phut area, Rayong Province.
Mr. Thawin Pothibuathong, Mayor of Map Ta Phut Municipality, presided over the official opening ceremony together with municipal executives, members of the municipal council, and heads of government agencies. The event was held on Mabya Road, in front of Chao Mae Chan The Shrine, Map Ta Phut, Mueang District, Rayong Province.
On this occasion, AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited, represented by Corporate Communications team together with more than 10 volunteer employees from MTP1 and MTP2 Plants, distributed gifts and educational supplies to children and also organized recreational activities incorporating knowledge on marine natural resource conservation under the project “AGC Vinythai Coral Cultivation”. These fun and educational games helped instill environmental awareness, creating a positive impression on more than 3,000 children and parents who attended the event.
In addition to co-organizing the main activities at Mabya Road area, AGC Vinythai extended this joy to surrounding communities and schools near the plants by distributing gifts and providing prizes to 70 communities and 15 schools in the Map Ta Phut Complex area, Ban Chang District, Rayong Province, and Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province, spreading happiness to youth in these areas.
Participation in this event not only brought happiness to children but also reflected AGC Vinythai’s commitment to being an integral part of the community and to prioritizing the quality of life of Thai children, who represent a vital driving force in the nation’s future development.
On 14 January 2026, Mr. Dol Rattanarak, Assistant Vice President – MTP2, represented AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited in receiving the Carbon Label certification from the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO, at the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), Bangkok. The ceremony was held to honor and express appreciation to organizations that play a significant role in driving greenhouse gas reduction efforts in Thailand.
The products of AGC Vinythai, MTP2 Plant, that received the Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) certification include Caustic Soda Micropearls 99% and Potassium Carbonate 99%. This achievement reflects the Company’s commitment, as a key private-sector stakeholder, to effectively controlling and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its manufacturing processes. It also aims to enhance long-term competitiveness and drive the organization toward achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions (Net Zero) by 2050.

On December 27, 2025, AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited, Phra Pradaeng Plant, conducted the 2nd Public Hearing for the Chlor-Alkali Plant Project (9th Expansion). The meeting held at the Pomnakarachsawatyanon School Auditorium in Samut Prakan Province, aimed to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to exchange views and offer suggestions regarding the project.
The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Worathep Lertwinyu, Executive Vice President – Corporate Planning, who presided over the opening ceremony. The management team and employees extended a warm welcome to over 300 participants, including community leaders, representatives from government agencies and the private sector, neighboring companies, and residents.
This public hearing is a continuation of the first session. The company presented study results along with measures to prevent and mitigate environmental impacts. We welcomed suggestions and concerns from all sectors to ensure the project’s development is appropriate, transparent, and compliant with all regulations. Secot Co., Ltd. has been appointed to prepare the environmental report for submission to the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) for further consideration in the next stage.
On this occasion, AGC Vinythai and Coral Conservation Foundation Supported by AGC Vinythai PLC., organized an exhibition booth titled “AGC Vinythai Coral Cultivation Project”. The booth aimed to showcase AGC Vinythai’s commitment and ongoing efforts toward corporate social and environmental responsibility.
