EHS Engineer (Safety)
Key Accountability :
- Improve and implement safety standard and guidelines for chemical plants.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews and verify safety measure prior to work execution.
- Monitor and analyze the BBS, implement actions to eliminate risk behaviours.
- Ensure that emergency plans are developed, regularly exercised and continuously improved.
- Lead incident investigations follow up on corrective actions and ensure no recurring incidents.
Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety or Health Science.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Experience in OCC or health within chemical and strong focus on achieving zero incidents,
- Familiar with regulatory requirements relevant to chemical plants and their implementation.
- Familiar with practices such as incident investigation, EHS training and construction safety
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
